The book of Exodus continued: The going out or the departure from Egypt is the most remarkable event in this book that follows the death of Joseph and covers the history of 145 years down to the erection of the Tabernacle in the wilderness. The book examines the causes and motives of the persecution against the Israelites in Egypt, reports on different encampments in the wilderness and miracles wrought in their behalf over 40 years and some detail of the different laws, statutes and ordinances which Moses received from God.

The book of Acts continued: As we move into the continuation of Luke’s account of the gospel, the book of the Acts of the Apostles, the birthday of the church for Jewish believers on Pentecost is followed by the birthday for Gentile believers at Cornelius’s home. Then there was the day that Christ was introduced to Europe by Paul; which led eventually to the U. S. A. and Maryville—“Go into all the world”
God’s Design for “The Church” Elders Room 204
This is an opportunity to meet and discuss the church with the elders of the Maryville Church of Christ. Each elder will lead one or more of the lessons about the Kingdom of God; new people in Christ; living in Christ; the Body of Christ; the elect of God; the family of God; God’s temple; Christ’s flock; Christ’s bride; and God’s priesthood.

Through Love, Serve One Another Ladies Room 206
The class will call on several ladies to teach a lesson on such topics as: Serving Through Hospitality, The Bereaved, With Pen and Paper, As a Leader’s Wife, Through Teaching, Those in Need, The Community, Through Attitude and Influence or Serving Through Counseling. This is a study of Christian service.
The Truth Project Mike Farmer Library
Class will be from 6:00—8:00 p.m. with a maximum of 16 students. One hour of class will be watching a DVD and one hour will be deep, intense discussion of the Focus on the Family’s “The Truth Project”. The class will attempt to help you create a Biblical world view and become more aware of the lies of the world.
